The role of the JPC Parents and Friends Association is to engage and build tangible relationships with parents, parish and school so that students may experience a sense of Christian community by embracing new friendships and build a sense of belonging and trust. The P&F works closely with the school Principal and school authorities to achieve common goals and school vision and also acts as a forum for ideas and discussion on any relevant issue that will benefit the education of the children.
Meeting once a month on the second Tuesday of each school term, the Committee plays a very important behind the scenes role at John Paul College. For example, in 2019, the following projects were funded by the P&F; buses for ACC, Science Investigation Night, Year 12 graduation gifts and Humphreys Dance Lessons. In 2020, to date, the P&F has funded shade sails for the new canteen and Humphreys Dance Lessons. Parents and friends are invited to join the Committee or just attend to find out more. All new members are very welcome. The P&F is the perfect opportunity to meet those involved at the school and to be across what is happening around the college.
