Learning Enrichment at JPC
At John Paul College, the Director of Learning Enrichment and the Learning Enrichment Administrator work together to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed.
The Learning Enrichment team collaborates closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide tailored assistance for students with additional needs, helping them thrive in the classroom and beyond.
The Mary Rice Centre is a dedicated space within the school, offering a flexible environment for students requiring extra support. While it is not a full-scale Education Support Centre, it serves as a hub where students can access resources, receive guidance, participate in small group sessions, and utilise the Sensory Room. This Centre plays a vital role in supporting student independence, confidence, and engagement, while ensuring that all students remain fully integrated into mainstream classrooms.
Educational Assistants are integral to the success of this initiative, working alongside teachers to provide in-class support, assist with Individualised Education Plans, and help foster an inclusive environment for all students.
Through these efforts, JPC strives to create a supportive and inclusive educational community, empowering every student to reach their full potential.
